"The inside of our pool was fine, but our decking was 25 years old. The limestone had turned gray and got stained easily. Pressure washing helped, but it always looked tired. We had Kevin come out, review our situation, and give us some options. From the very first meeting, we felt confident that Clear Solutions had the experience and expertise to do a good job. We decided to remove all of the old decking and replace it with new coping and concrete covered with a colored layer that matched the original limestone color. Sergio was the on-site supervisor for each phase of the project. He and his team clearly knew what they were doing, and took great care on every phase. Sergio has a great eye for anticipating choices and solutions. Hugo did the final spray coloring layer, and he made sure we were satisfied with this last step. The entire crew as always friendly, careful, and answered our questions. Communications are important to us, and Kevin was great about this. We had a couple of minor weather delays, and Kevin always communicated when workers would arrive. He was easy to reach during the whole process.

“I initially obtained estimates for my pool replastering from three contractors, but I sensed from the start that this company was more focused on the integrity of the pool itself rather than just the aesthetics which is the main reason I chose them over the other two. My instincts turned out to be right on and critically important to resolving recurring leaking issues with the pool. Whether it was structural integrity or plumbing problems, the project manager, David McCauley, knew just what to do and which specialty crew to use to repair each new issue that came to light as the project progressed. Additionally, I can not give enough kudos to David as he was always very responsive, thoroughly communicative, knowledgeable, and professional in all my MANY contacts with him throughout the several weeks I worked with this company. He even came to my home on a holiday weekend after the project was completed to help me figure out the valve settings on my pool equipment which (unknown to me!) had been changed by some of the crew members and as such prevented me from restarting the pool pump after refilling. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this company. My project was not cheap, but based on what they found and what I saw myself, I have no doubt they corrected some problems that had been inherent in the pool since its construction.”

“OK, if you don’t like to read, then just look at the 5 stars. If you want to get my real impression on a very expensive project, read on. I contacted 7 companies about resurfacing my 20 year-old pool and replacing the tile in the pool and attached spa. I also did extensive research on the best surface. That research, my great experience with Brent Lewis, and my decision to use WetEdge pebble finish led me to choose Clear Solutions. We agreed on the price and I put down a 50% deposit in February 2020. Work was supposed to be done in April. Then bam, the pandemic hit. I was nervous about having the workers at my house and if this was a good time to be spending so much money. I contacted Clear Solutions and they agreed to refund my deposit in full and did so promptly. When we all settled into our new reality, I once again went back under contract with them to have the work done in October 2020. I was told the plaster would take a year to fully cure so that is why I have waited so long to write this review. The final product is amazing! I went with Signature Matrix Caribbean Blue, it definitely looked a bit smurfy at the beginning but as Brent said, it has cured and looks amazing now. They provided very specific instructions for the initial stages of curing. Follow them! I was a bit concerned with how it would feel on my feet since a friend redid his pool with a no-name pebble brand and it literally left cuts on the bottom of my my feet! Not our WetEdge. It feels amazing and our pool looks better than when it was originally constructed in 2001! The work crews were very respectful to my property. It is a messy job but they were smart about how they completed their work and now a year later you would have no idea that they were even here! They installed the glass waterline tile, glass trim tile, Universal White Cement Arctic Coast polished pebble plaster with glass & extra abalone shell, and coping on my newly built pool. “Clear solutions renovated my pool that was about 20 years old. They did coping, tile, plaster and some deck work. It took a while to get all the details sorted out. Once the contract was signed, Brent was out all the time to check on the work. There were a couple times where nothing was done for a few days. But, if you have ever been through the construction process before, this is totally expected. I chose a hydrazzo plaster, which was the more high end. When I asked other companies to quote the same thing, the cost came in considerably higher. I also have to add that I contacted about 10 companies. Six never responded back. One company was clearly a one-man operation and was in over his head. So, I only negotiated with three companies on my project. Overall, great job and great recommendations on some different options. I would definitely use clear solutions again!”
